Joshua Shaevitz, Ph.D., is an associate professor of Physics and Genomics at Princeton University specializing in precision experiments on diverse biological systems. Before becoming a professor, he studied at Columbia, Stanford, and UC Berkeley where he was a Miller Research Fellow. He has published numerous scientific articles on biophysics in leading scientific journals and has received a number of awards for his research and teaching activities. He and his wife, a medical publications director, live in Princeton, New Jersey with their two young children.
