Mark MacLachlan’s research interests span supramolecular chemistry, macrocycle chemistry, nanomaterials, mesoporous materials, photonic structures, and biopolymers. He has recently been exploiting cellulose nanocrystals and chitin nanofibers for the construction of new materials, primarily with photonic properties.
