Since 2002, the Chemical Biophysics symposium has taken place on the University of Toronto campus. As such, we wish to acknowledge the land on which the University of Toronto operates.
For thousands of years it has been the traditional land of the Huron-Wendat, the Seneca, and the Mississaugas of the Credit. The region is still the home to many Indigenous people from across Turtle Island and we are grateful to have the opportunity to meet and share our science on this land.
If you or someone you know if interested in promoting STEM and education, particularly in the realm of chemistry, biology, and physics, amongst Indigenous communities, especially for young people, please get in touch. We are looking to promote and support access to education for all people.
